Lucy, you got some ‘splainin’ to do!

This is one of Andrés’ favorite I Love Lucy episodes!

Sometimes I pretend we’re them because I have red hair, an overactive imagination and a knack for getting myself in trouble. And he’s Latino (Colombian, though, not Cuban), I test his patience constantly, and he rambles in Spanish when he gets exasperated.

Cannibalism

My coworkers surprised me with a celebration for graduating this afternoon! Apparently “someone” contacted my family for a “slightly” embarrassing photo of me.

This is me, circa 2005? We were beginning to pack up the old house and I hopped in the box and made my very best GO FACE.

Now I’ve had the pleasure of seeing this amazing photo PRINTED ON A CAKE THAT WAS EATEN BY MY COWORKERS.

Of course, I got to eat my face. I feel cannibalistic – but in a good way, if you know what I mean.

Changes

It’s hard to believe I’m done with college.

I took my last exam for my last class last night. Our grades aren’t posted yet, but I’m pretty sure I’m going to pass because we got our course projects back (worth 35% of our grade) right after the exam, and I got a 99%.

There are two reasons I’m pointing out my grade:

  1. I made up about 90% of that 10 page single space paper.
  2. I MADE UP ABOUT 90% OF THAT TEN PAGE SINGLE SPACE PAPER.
I’m glad I could finish up college on a high note. Becoming a top-notch bullshitter is the culmination of the last four and a half years of my life.
My parents are understandably proud.
